P910i + HCA-20 echo problem [Sony Ericsson HCA-20 Advanced Car Handsfree - 102191]

I have the above setup in my volvo 340, the problem i have is with people calling me. They get a terrible echo whilst i talk to them is there a particular cause for this echo and can i stop it? thanks for the help Ed
