have taken Orange sim from 6230 and put in 910i..., also recieved updates from SE for MMS, WAP & Internet account settings, and installed ok. Using MMS no problem, but everytime i try and go to an internet page a 'barred' message comes up, and if i simply try and make a connection a 'corrupt' message comes up. can anyone shed any light on what the problem might be? incidently, i don't think i'll be using the qwerty keyboard that much...., quite tricky to use

Are you on contract or pay-as-u-go? Orange do picture messaging seperatly to data i.e. the internet which needs an extra subscription. Ring Orange to see if your SIM can be updated. :)

Hi Cheech.., i'm on contract, but what you are saying doesn't make sense. I had Motorola MPX200, then Nokia 6230 - with each phone I could use MMS and internet, but with this one I can't use internet. Rang SE support who said i should re-install WAP settings, then if that didn't work check with my network provider. Rang Orange who said that the P910i isn't a supported platform. Typical! Mind you when I failed to get a Orange 3G datacard working with my Toshiba laptop, they said they had a few problems with Toshiba laptops. Bloody typical! I'm thinking of switching back to my 6230, and wait for the Motorola MPX, as I favour the Windows OS. Good luck!

Hi, The_Mullen I'm not on contract so not sure why it don't work if your set up for GPRS and other phones were OK. Funny that the P900 WAS supported by Orange? And they say their 3G is gonna floor '3' (lol) Ah Mpx, that does look rather tempting as does the V3 raZor ;) BTW Max-Pax? Ode to MaxPax Oh Maxpax, Oh Maxpax God of all eternity Your s**tty brew It makes me new To face my life again. I flag, I falter Maxpax you catch me. You comfort me And help me cope So I need not hope any more. Until the evening, when:- of course Max, Maxpax deserted me, And left me -- Shagged out to the core... :D

Hey cheech Your a dark horse you are really a poet.....lol! Is maxpax those horrid drinks you get out of machines? Thought it was some surreal message to me at first "Max"? then I noticed the bit on The_Mullen's profile DOH! Sorry you can not get your p910i to work on the internet The_Mullen but I can't understand what Orange have told you ..that is really bad, have you tried their website (Orange) to send the wap setting straight from their website to your phone, a long shot I know, but hey unless you try you will never know! ;-) Foxy x

Have any of you tried our new range? The chocolate, coffee-latte and expresso is particularly nice, but the bright yellow soup with floating red and green bits still tastes like the original recipe (probably same strategy as KFC); I personally wouldn't touch. More importanly, I pull 90k p.a. out of MAX-PAX UK Limited, I have a Golf 2.0TDi for running about it and drive a Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet at the weekends, both with Bluetooth phone kits! Good luck!

Hi The_Mullen, Well done sounds like you are doing great, but sorry to say I still think your drinks are horrid! lol Have you sorted out your p910i yet? Did you try reloading your settings straight from the Orange website rather than the SE website? Take care, Foxy x

Hi, rang Orange 3 times today, first time tried sim update, second time tried to set-up internet account, both had no effect. Third time got lucky with a girl (this time) set up WAP GPRS settings, and I have internet (in a fashion), but I can't get onto all the sites that I use to be able to get onto, like Tiscali or my work website to check webmail etc, various error codes and messages like 'your browser does not support in-line frames'. I'm going to try loading Opera later to see if this helps. I am beginning to like the P910i features, but the master plan I had to ditch the Blackberry (e-mail) and NAVMAN (SAT-NAV device) in favour of SMARTPHONE doing eveything looks like it aint gonna happen for me. Do you know if they do evening classes on this stuff? Good luck!

Hi Again, What browser are you using? Opera is the best of the ones I have tried, so hopefully when you download that you should be ok! How is the texting problem and choosing sim? Did you do a master reset before you downloaded your new settings? Are you using wap or gprs? Sorry fo the inquisistion! Foxy x

Ahh WAP is the reason for not getting all the net, as Foxy mentioned, Opera is WAY better than the SE effort and you can connect over BT as a virtual serial connection with a PC for free surfing. You can use HTTP over GPRS which will give quite a good render of the net but not all sites work. I feel sick at what you rake in when I thought my 35K was not bad :(
